Our mission is to support and assist businesses in Lansdale and promote the growth and success of the business community and the value of shopping local. The LBA actively solicites and facilitates conversations with Lansdale business owners; their employees; the citizens of Lansdale; visitors to Lansdale; and with Lansdale public workers and Borough Council. We strive to promote positive communications between Lansdale businesses and all who support Lansdale as a thriving, healthly, and beautiful community to live in, do business and work in; and as a destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Lansdale Historical Society was founded in 1972, and its purpose is to preserve the history of the Borough of Lansdale and the greater North Penn area, and to share its collection of material and resources with the greater community, particularly the youth. It has its headquarters in a two-building complex, located on Jenkins Avenue in the center of Lansdale, Montgomery County, PA. First Friday is a time to celebrate downtown Lansdale, with live music, in-store specials, and fun for all. The mission of First Friday is to provide a lively place in the heart of Lansdale where the local community can gather each month. The mission of Lansdale Farmers Market is to maintain a seasonal farmers market that supports local producers of healthy, nourishing foods and quality crafted goods. We desire to build community while providing educational programs that promote sustainable living.
